libsyncml2 software package provides SyncML protocol library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsyncml2
libsyncml2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsyncml2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsyncml2 *
You will get with libsyncml2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
